The other day I discovered the coolest thing in the kitchen. It it where my humans put the food they are finished with. Sometimes I can get to it. I'm always there to try, regardless.
When we just had Sam we got away with a short garbage can with no lid - Sam is too mannered to eat what he hasn't been given permission to. Monty on the other hand, made us buy a tall can with a motion activated lid. Monty learned how to open the lid, but was never quick enough to get his head in to eat anything. From his constant trying, the lid is now non-functioning!
We had to put our 'thing' like that in the garage...Too many noses and too many 'I dare you' and 'triple dog dare you' between the dogs! :-)

Those lids are a kitchen saver! We have an extra big can - similar to a recycling can to keep our girls out of the trash.
