My Summer

Some of you may be wondering what I've been doing?  Well I'm having a great summer despite my humans leaving me with Grandma Debi for a week to go to Utah.  If you remember my last post I was anxious for Mom to be off work for the summer.  And since summer has began, I've been doing a little bit of everything.  Check it out:

Generally, I'm having a good summer which makes me happy.  I hope you are having a great summer too. Remember to take it easy in this heat wave.  Whew!

No, I'm Not in Trouble

It's been a while since I've blogged.  I've just been sitting here with the saddest eyes I can give.  I'm waiting on Mom to be off work for the summer.  She's a teacher you see.  Tomorrow is finally her last day. HOO RAY!!! 

I have big plans for me and Mom's summer.  Here's my short list:
1. Hiking
2. Unlimited belly scratches
3. Rides in the truck
4. Playing hide n seek with socks
5.  Playing tug of war
6. Going to the farmers market
7. Unlimited drinks from the spicket while the water is running
8. Visiting with neighbors
9.  Treats whenever I want
10. Eating corn on the cob

My list could go on and on, but I think you get the idea.  I expect the whole summer to revolve around me.  Why wouldn't it?!

More Birthday!

I tell ya, all a girl has to do is complain and everything is taken care of! I received another birthday gift. This one is from Augie and Ti. My two favorite boys!

It was a packed specially shipped from Amazon to me! Augie, Ti and their Mom included a nice note whishing a Happy Birthday and Happy Easter. They gave me a squeaky bunny. Perfect for playing! Thanks for remembering me boys! I love me new baby.

Happy (belated) Birthday!

My humans promised they would make my birthday up to me over Easter weekend. Well, it's that time and I bet you're wondering what they did. They took me hiking and bought me a new baby. See below:

Happy Birthday To Me!

Yesterday was my 7th birthday.  I decided to ring in my 7th year of life quietly.  Ok, I'm lying... My humans told me to say that.  If you want to know the truth, they FORGOT!!!!  And instead of telling you about my feelings of disappointment, I'm just going to look past it.  They are promising me a lot of fun over Easter break.
My human Aunt Tammy didn't forget though.  Check out this video.  It's all about me!

A Beautiful Day

The other day my humans took me on a 2 mile hike. It was a gorgeous day. It was an enjoyable afternoon for all!

Food Holder

The other day I discovered the coolest thing in the kitchen. It it where my humans put the food they are finished with. Sometimes I can get to it. I'm always there to try, regardless.

A Gift

I got a gift from my boyfriends, Augie & Ti. Yep! They love me so they sent me a Valentine. Mom forgot pictures of my unwrapping but she snapped a few of me loving my new stuffie. Thanks boys!!

Happy Valentines Day!

I first wanted to wish all my friends a Happy Valentines Day! I hope you all get lots of love!
I also wanted to show you my 2nd attempt at the guilt trip. Today I tried sticking my whole body under the bed. So I'm a little thick in the stomach still. Oops! More yogurt for me.

New Year, New Goals

I've decided it's time to get healthy. That means I need to sleep less, walk and play more and beg for the healthy stuff. I'll start with this:

The Guilt Trip

When Mom leaves for work every morning, I join her while she gets ready. In an attempt to get her to stay home with me, I tried my paw at the guilt trip. That's right! I stuck my head under the bed! So it's not my proudest moment, but desperate times call for desperate measures. Needless to say, it didn't work. Something about 'need to work to buy your food..' sigh...

Healing

As mentioned in my previous post, my family and I were very sad that our friend Farley passed away. The other day Mom caught me smiling. She thought it might cheer others up, including Farley's family, if she showed my smile.

I'm Too Sad

I'm too sad talk so I'll let my Mom....

We were shocked and deeply saddened of the news that our dear friend Farley passed away yesterday evening. If you have a moment, please stop by his blog and send some love to his family.

To Farley and his family: we are very much sharing in your sadness. He will always hold a special place with our family. I am almost like Sophie, too sad to talk.

I've Been a Good Girl

Guess what? Another gift came in the mail for me! I guess my behavior has been exceptional this year!


This gift came from a very handsome Golden named Farley. In the envelope I found treats:

And a snowman headband. I will sit long enough for a picture but don't expect me to keep these things on during my daily routine (sleeping, eating, sleeping, etc).

That Time of Year!

Well, it's that time of year again. Time to put things that belong outdoors, indoors:

Mom has also been talking a lot about Santa Paws. Since I know I've been an angel this year, I believe I will be showered with an abundance of gifts. In the spirit of the season, today I received a package, but it wasnt from Santa. It was from Augie & Ti.

They even included a dashing photo of themselves wishing me a Merry Christmas.
