The food items that Sophie is allergic to are: Rice, Barley, Eggs, Peas, Pork. She is allergic to Kopac (some sort of stuffing often used in dog beds and such), Wool, and slightly allergic to human hair (not sure what to do about that one). Finding dog foods that don't have the above ingredients are pretty difficult. It is either the $98/30lb bag of prescription diet food, or a $25/50lb bag of dog food like many "real" hunting dogs eat. I opted for the $25/50lb bag of food and we are going to give it a shot. It will be pretty funny if that is what works and we have been spending $50 bucks a bag for all of these fancy foods. We will let you know how it works.
